No, it’s not a candy bar made out of small blue people (though I wish it was). But rather, a nerf bar is basically a vehicle’s side steps (okay, I know car afficionados would get angry at me for that). Okay, to clear things up, what makes a nerf bar different from a side step is that a nerf bar is in the form of a long tube. On the other hand, side steps are–well–steps.
However, both nerf bars and side steps fill up on the same purpose. That is, to provide the driver and passengers alike that ease in mounting a vehicle. See, if you’ve got kids and you own a truck, having a nerf bar would make it easier for them to enter their seats. Or, on the other hand, you could also use your nerf bars for that extra-boost when handling heavy cargo.
What’s more, nerf bars also add a sense of style for your truck. It gives your truck that extra muscular look. Nuff said.
By now you’re probably recalling if you’ve already seen a nerf bar before. Chances are, you already had. That’s because nerf bars are a common car accessory. However, once you’ve seen one doesn’t mean you’ve seen them all. Nerf bars come in different styles and are made from various materials. Some are for SUVs, others are for trucks and what not.
If you’re interested in adding nerf bars to your truck, or planning to replace your old ones, you can surf the net for online automotive shops that offer this accessory. So yeah, tell me what you think when you get one!

I love my nerf bars. I just got mine in stainless. I couldn’t believe how easy they were to install too.
